FAQs
What will our first session look like?
1
Your first session is an opportunity for us to connect and begin understanding what has brought you to therapy. We’ll discuss your experiences, explore your goals, and identify what feels most important to you, while creating a space built on trust, safety, and collaboration. Together, we’ll start developing a path that reflects your unique needs. As our work unfolds, we’ll approach your thoughts and experiences with curiosity and compassion, moving at a pace that feels right for you, without any expectation to share more than you’re comfortable with.
Will my personal insurance cover our session?
2
Psychotherapy services are often covered under extended health benefits. I encourage you to check with your provider to confirm if your plan covers services with a “Registered Psychotherapist” (RP). A detailed receipt will be provided after each session to support any insurance claims
What if I’m in crisis or need immediate support?
3
BridgeWell Therapy is not a crisis service and I’m unable to provide emergency support outside of scheduled sessions. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, are concerned about your safety, or need immediate assistance, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. You can also call or text 9-8-8, Canada’s Suicide Crisis Helpline, available 24/7.
What are your rates?

Individual sessions are $170. Sliding scale rates are available for those with financial need.
